Ok, so let me start off by saying I am in no way affiliated with Skintimate or any of their parent companies, or with the Walmart I bought this product from (unless you count the fact that I live fairly close to the Walmart).
Shaving legs has always been a conundrum for me. I love nice, smooth legs, but it really is a hassle trying to keep them that way. Of all the tools it takes to keep legs silky smooth, shaving cream is by far the worse! This is why: Every shaving cream container I have used, no matter their sinister lies about being “rust proof”, have always left their mark in my shower. Whether it’s on the floor or a shelf, I see those pesky red marks and I shudder.
I was so fed up with this, that I decided to peruse my local Walmart for an alternative (yes, I’ve heard that just soap can work in a pinch, but I don’t like the after-feel). I thought someone has to have solved this problem already! And Skintimate did!
This lovely bottle sports that all plastic and no annoyingly stupid rusting metal bottoms. On top of that, it works more like a lotion than a cream, so it doesn’t lather, but it does leave my skin incredibly smooth! And it was under $4 (I think it was $3.47). Just for reference, I have a shaving system where I don’t shave every day (in the winter it’s about three times a week as needed, and the summer is every day to every other day), but this bottle lasts me about a month and a half to about two months.
Anyway, I’ve never done a giveaway before, and I always wanted to try it out. So just for fun, I bought another bottle and will mail it to one person that will comment on this blog entry. The giveaway entry time will end on Thursday Jan 26th (one week from today) at 5PM Central time, where I will use Random.org to find a winner.

Hmmm, my favorite go-to product is probably any one of my hair products that fights frizz. Ha,ha!! I have naturally curly hair that does what it wants. So anything that helps to tame frizz is my friend!
I can really relate. I have wavy, kinky hair. I’m still trying to find that perfect product!
I got tired of spending so much money on shaving cream and it never lasting very long. I actually use a moisterizing conditioner both for my hair and shaving. Bonus…no rust marks and less to pack when traveling.
Interesting idea! Next time I travel, I might do this because that would mean less to try to get through in security (especially if I’m staying in a hotel!).
