What is Our Simple Love Story?
This website follows the love story of Katy and Michael, but this isn’t just about the love they have for each other. Their love story is about their life and all of the love emanating through it and around it. It’s the love story of their passions, their friends, their family, their adventures and their relationship with God. The simple truth is that their whole, entire life is just one big love story, not limited to just their marriage.
A little bit about who they are:
Hi! I’m Katy. I’m in my late twenties. I am lucky enough to have a job that allows me to help people on a daily basis. It also meets my organization addiction as well. I also work in a ministry at church where I can use my degree making videos for the church family. I love this work because I get to know so many people’s love stories with God and how He has worked and moved in their lives, no matter what age they are.
I have an eclectic array of hobbies. I love to train dogs, cross stitch, sew, cook, bake, hike, run, scrapbook, write, paint, read, watch TV and movies, use workout videos, do yoga, as well as an assortment of other things where I’ve done some dabbling.
This is Michael. He’s in his late twenties. Even though he is one year younger than me, he would never admit it (he says I will always be 25 to him). He has an analytic mind for numbers and works with spreadsheets. He helps people as well, but in a different way. He works on some of the more hands-on service oriented ministries at church, as well as the missions team. He’s quieter than I am, but only with words. His actions speak volumes to the kind of man he is.
We hope that when you read this blog, you are encouraged to find your love story. Love stories are the passions that fill our lives, no matter if you are attached to someone or not. Love stories are what drive you, and they are what drive us.

Katy ~ I knew I would love looking at your blog, and I certainly did ! I read ppl pretty well and just with the help and time you were willing to give me on my silly FB issues, I knew what a good and helping soul you are. You seem to be traversing and creating your own Mary/Martha-Sister MIX excellently ! (I hope that made sense LOL, it did to me at the time… LOL) I am not totally, but somewhat housebound for the moment, so I will really enjoy looking forward to your blog!! PS (yes i always have one LOL ) since you mentioned your church video production, you should check out these youtube performance-art/painting/spoken-word/music experience at church service videos. I have seen this guy in person and it is awesome in person as well as on video.
